On June 16, I will present to the WV Floodplain Management Conference about Philanthropy’s Response to Flooding. Thank you to our friends at Tygart Valley United Way and United Way of the Upper Ohio Valley, for sharing photos, information and data.
Speaking of conferences, we are bringing you a fantastic event in October! We will be announcing the lineup of presentations, special events and fun very soon! For now, I’d suggest coming to town Oct. 13, so you don’t miss an educational networking event that evening. Then, we will kick off Oct. 14 with breakfast to focus on a day of learning and conversations about timely topics and then celebrate the Spirit of Philanthropy honorees. On Thursday, Oct. 15, we will host our annual meeting and then start folding in joint programming with our colleagues at the WV Nonprofit Association around lunchtime.
